According to the newsletter of Amir Kabir, after the students of Mashad University carried out a mourning ceremony for Ashoura’s martyrs on the third day after their death, several buses carrying more than 500 members of Ansar and Basij entered the university campus around 1:00 pm. Details on the Murderer of Mir Hossein Mousavi’s Nephew and Martyrs of Ashoura

Details on the Murderer of Mir Hossein Mousavi’s Nephew and Martyrs of Ashoura

Green Way Movement (Jaras): While the Islamic Republic officials claim that martyrs of Ashoura 2009 were killed suspiciously or were assassinated, we have new information about the murderer of Seyed Ali Habibi Mousavi and other martyrs of Ashoura.

Based on eyewitness reports, on the day of Ashoura (December 27) around 1:00pm to 2:00 pm a black van (Make: Patrol, Plate number: 87M752 – Iran 11), which had four plainclothes agents in it, moved with all its speed toward people on Shademan Street. It first ran over two people and passed one of them. The man in the front passenger seat was armed with a colt, and during the action, shot a few times at people. Then he passed Shademan Street in the same manner, turning and going back toward Azadi Avenue. After the van left, a few people were injured and shot at and people went to help them. Evidence proves that Mir Hossein Mouasvi’s nephew was shot and martyred in the same area.

Based on this report, two or three motorcyclists were together with the van and thousands of people who were in Shademan Street saw this and could even identify the murderer.

It is to be noted that passengers of the van, after committing this crime, went into Yadegar Expressway. They stopped in the North to South line, chatted with Basij forces stationed around there and a lot of cars passing also identified this van and its passengers.

Based on eyewitness accounts, the murderer who shot at people with a colt was a 19-20 year old youth who has a beard and a small mustache. He also was wearing a light yellow shirt.

Ahmadinejad’s Government Calls Protesters a Bunch of Thugs

Ahmadinejad’s Government Calls Protesters a Bunch of Thugs

Yesterday evening, Ahmadinejad reacted to the anti-government protesters which shook the blood-spattering government of the Supreme Leader. He called the protests an American Zionist play. The appointee of the miserable Supreme Leader added, these uproars are a play ordered by the Zionists and Americans- the tickets for the play have already been bought and they are the audience.

AFP: The board of the Islamic Republic issued an inflammatory statement on Tuesday night in which it called Ashoura protesters “a bunch of thugs and remnants of anti-revolutionary groups” who, according to this statement, were “under the illusion of overthrowing the government.”

The statement of the board of Ahmadinejad’s government goes on to say, “What happened in the 1431 Ashura (Lunar calendar) in Tehran is an image of Ashura in the year 61 (Lunar calendar) when all the blasphemy, heresy, and profanity stood against all the righteousness to bring about another disaster through the use of a bunch of thugs and remnants of the whistling and obnoxious anti-revolutionary groups.”

The board of the Islamic Republic government warns the protesters: “Destructive actions and chanting obscene slogans brought about the grief of the noble nation of Iran and the happiness of the world’s Zionist front. This practically lays out a red carpet for the foreigners and undermines national security.”

This statement, which has been issued at the threshold of the anticipated protests on Wednesday, expresses abhorrence of the protesters and offers condolences to Imam Zaman and Ayatollah Khamenei, whom the statement refers to as the “legitimate predecessor” of Imam Zaman.

In this statement, the recent June elections are recalled as “the great referendum” and “a historical no” to the West. The statement promises that “the nation of Iran will one more time put the elements of arrogance back in their place and defeat sedition.”

One of the Oldest Political Prisoners Sentenced to Death

According to reports from Human Rights Activists and Democracy in Iran, political prisoner Ali Saremi was sentenced to death for his participating in protests on the 19th anniversary of the massacre of political prisoners in 1987.

On Tuesday December 29th ( 8 Dey) political prisoner Ali Saremi 62, after spending 28 months in detention and after numerous postponed court dates by the judge appointed by the Supreme Leader, received the death sentence by the court messenger.

Political prisoner Ali Saremi was arrested on September 5, 2007 (14 shahrivar 1386) after participating in the 19th anniversary of mass killings of political prisoners. He was attacked by the regime’s intelligence service forces and was arrested by a man nicknamed Alavi who is the prosecutor and torturer at Evin prison section 209. Ali Saremi was sent to solitary confinement. Mr. Saremi spent seven months in section 209, then he was sent to section 350 of Evin prison. While he was in section 350, he was tortured and was treated inhumanely, then he was sent back to solitary confinement. He is suffering from multiple injuries and in need of surgery but he has not been treated.

Although Ali Saremi had not been convicted of any real crime, he was still sent to Gohardasht Prison in Karaj. He was summoned to the Revolution Court multiple times and was prosecuted by the judge Salavati. Salavati’s behaviour was vicious and inhumane. Prosecutors from the intelligence service had changed his file, and although he was arrested for participating in protests, now the file shows other reasons such as being part of the Mojahedin group, going to the Ashraf compound to visit his son in Iraq, and being a threat to national security.

Political prisoner Ali Saremi during the past 30 years was arrested four times and has spent more than 20 years in the regime’s prisons.
