Free detained lawyers in Iran

On Wednesday afternoon, on the eve of the anniversary of the July 9, 1999 uprising, simultaneous with widespread measures to prevent anti-government protests, the suppressive forces of the mullahs’ regime arrested a number of Iranian lawyers and jurists, including Mr. Mohammad-Ali Dadkhah and his colleagues, who were defending those arrested in recent weeks in the course of the nationwide uprising.

A number of other lawyers defending those recently detained, including Mr. Abdolfattah Soltani, have in recent weeks been arrested and are being held in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison.
