Reports from Evin suggest that Mahdavi is in a bad emotional state and has been abused verbally in order to make false confessions.
On October 22nd, 71 people were arrested when agents from the Intelligence Ministry raided a Komail prayer session held at the house of Shahab Tababai’s father in law. A number of Komail detainees have since been released, but several others including Minavi remain detained in Evin prison.
