Amazing Resistance of Tehran People against
Brutal Beatings of the Government Forces

Iran Khabar Agency: Wednesday 13th of Aban (4th of November)- Since the early hours counter-insurgency, police, security, and oppressive Bassij forces were stationed in various streets: Taleqani – Mofateh – Iranshahr – Forsat – Hafez – Hafte Tir Square – Karimkhn Zand – Valiasr square – Kargar Shomali – Keshavarz blvd. – Enghleab Street – Front of the Tehran University – Qods – Azadi – Jamalzade – Valiasr (north and south) – Fatemi square – Fatemi street – Hijab – Felestin – Felestin square – streets leading to Tehran University and Amirkabir University.

10:00am- Students of Tehran University were gathered inside and moved toward eastern gate toward Qods and Taleani avenues where the counter-insurgency and oppressive forces didn’t let student get out of the university. Students went back in and went toward the main gate. Special and counter-insurgency forces didn’t let them go out, but the students didn’t stop and countered them with slogans like "Down with Dictator," "Down with Russia," "Down with China," "Political Prisoners" should be released.

From 9:30am, people moved toward Hafte Tir square and were moving in streets around Hafte tir square, Ghaem Magaham Farahani, Mofateh Shomali, Karimkhan zand when counter-insurgency, police and Basij didn’t let them gather and tried to disperse them, but the people continued their move around the square and continued their gathering. After this resistance, people were met with severe response of security and Basij forces with tear gas. They spread tear gas and beat people up to disperse them.

Oppressive forces arrested a lot of youth and girls and brought them to unidentified places. Most of those who clashed with people and beat them up were Basij and security forces who brutally used batons and cables and used pepper spray on women, girls, and youth. Notable point is that all these brutal actions didn’t disperse people and they continued their demonstrations and moved toward the Russian Embassy. People’s resistance was outstandingly amazing, and admirable.

آژانس ايران خبر :امروز چهارشنبه سيزده آبان, از ساعت اوليه صبح نيروهاي ضد شورش وانتظامي و امنيتي و نيروهاي سركوبكر بسيجي در خيابانهاي طالقاني- مفتح- ايرانشهر- فرصت -حافظ- ميدان هفت تير- كريمخان زند- ميدان وليعصر- كارگر شمالي- بلوار كشاورز- خيابان انقلاب- جلو دانشگاه تهران- خيابان قدس خيابان آزادي- جمالزاده- خيابان وليعصر شمال و جنوب- ميدان فاطمي- خيابان فاطمي- خيابان حجاب- خيابان فلسطين- ميدان فلسطين- خيابانهاي منتهي به دانشگاه تهران و دانشگاه اميركبير مستقر شده بودند .
در ساعت 10 صبح دانشجويان دانشگاه تهران در داخل دانشگاه تجمع كرده و به طرف درب شرقي منتهي به خيابان قدس و طالقاني حركت كردند كه نيروهاي ضد شورش و سركوبكر اجازه خروج از دانشگاه ندادند و دانشجويان به داخل دانشگاه رفته و به طرف درب اصلي رفتند ,نيروهاي يگان ويژه و ضد شورش اجازه خارج شدن ندادند اما دانشجويان از پا ننشسته و با شعار مرگ بر ديكتاتور, مرگ بر روسيه ,مرگ بر چين , زنداني سياسي آزاد بايد گردد به مقابله پرداختند.
مردم از ساعت نه و سي دقيقه به طرف ميدان هفت تير حركت كردند و در خيابانهاي اطراف ميدان هفت تير, قائم مقام فراهاني, مفتح شمالي ,كريمخان زند در حركت بودند كه نيروهاي ضد شورش و انتظامي و بسيجي اجازه تجمع به آنها راندادند و تلاش درمتفرق كردن مردم و جوانان داشتند اما مردم همچنان به حركت و دور زدن در ميدان ادامه داده و تجمع خود را برپا نمودند , به دنبال اين مقاومت , مردم با برخورد شديد نيروهاي امنيتي و بسيجي و با گاز اشك آور مواجه شدند , آنها با پرتاب گاز اشك آور و ضرب و شتم تلاش درمتفرق كردن مردم داشتند .
مزدوران سركوبگر تعداد زيادي از جوانان و دختران را دستگير كردند و به جاهاي نامعلومي منتقل نمودند.
بيشترين كساني كه با مردم در گيرشده و آنها را مورد ضرب و شتم قرار ميدادند نيروهاي بسيجي و امنيتي بودند كه با باتوم و سيم كابل به شكل وحشيانه اي مي زدند و گاز فلفل به صورت زنان و دختران و جوانان پرتاب ميكردند , نكته قابل تامل اينجاست كه تمام اين اقدامات وحشيانه مانع مردم نشد و مردم همچنان به تظاهرات ادامه داده و به سمت سفارت روسيه حركت كردند. مقاومت مردم به واقع شگرف وستودني بود .
