According to a report by Human Rights Activists for Democracy in Iran, this morning at 1:00am, gunshots were heard in and around the property of Evin prison.
The gunshots were so loud that many of the political prisoners were awakened from their sleep. The sounds of gunshots proceeded for a while and loud shouts could be heard. The reason for the gunshots is unknown.
The situation has caused the families of political prisoners to be extremely worried.
