Majid Tavakkoli Meets With Lawyer After 35 Days of Detention



Majid Tavakkoli, the imprisoned student of Polytechnic University, met with his lawyer for the first time after 35 days of detention. According to Amirkabir News, Majid Tavakkoli, the Anjoman-e Eslami (the university’s Islamic affairs bureau) member has been transferred to Evin Prison after his arrest on Students’ Day.

State TV showed pictures of Majid Tavakkoli in Mr. Salavati’s Court. Majid Tavakkoli’s lawyer, Mr. Dadkhah, has met with Tavakkoli in prison and that his morale is high.
According to Mr. Dadkhah, no sentence has yet been issued to Tavakkoli.
