Students of Shahid Beheshti University to Strike on Saturday

Students of Shahid Beheshti University will strike on Saturday January 9th, the first day of exams.

HRANA- Student Rights: The Islamic Association of Shahid Beheshti University called upon the students to strike on Saturday January 9, 2009.

Iran’s foreign minister Manuchehr Mottaki plans to give a speech the school on the same day.

The students plan to begin their strike at 10:00am in the main square of Shahid Beheshti University and [continue] to protest until 1:00pm in Moulavi Hall, the place where Manutschehr Mottaki is expected to deliver a speech.

Regime supporters have not officially announced Mottaki’s speech due to concerns of student protests erupting.
